Biography
A resident of Adelaide, Yvette majored in music studies throughout high school, and was invited to apply for AMEB scholarship following outstanding exam results. She went on to complete a Bachelor of Music at the Elder Conservatorium with an equal weighting of Performance and Musicology studies, studying under a number of different teachers.

Yvette began teaching piano at a primary school in 1985 and moved to private teaching on starting full time employment after University studies. Her abilities as a teacher have been well demonstrated with students receiving excellent results in AMEB exams throughout a 20 year teaching career, and a successful sports coaching record.

As well as a Bachelors degree, she holds the Associate and Licentiate qualifications from the AMEB, and was accepted as a full member of the Music Teachers Association. Since graduating she continued piano studies with Gil Sullivan and performed in numerous concerts for Recitals Australia. Performance and further study are temporarily suspended while caring for two young children.
